  • Holloway-Bence | A Day in the Life

  • We realized it was just a little over a year when I was last in the Bence/Holloway household.
Little Arthur, the sweetest little Christmas Eve baby, was settled in at home.
After the birth and into the new year, I headed there to document them as a family of four
and that was the last time I’d seen them.
Victoria and Andie have been wonderful to me.
Inviting into both of their birth spaces
and into their home to celebrate the life they have built with their beautiful boys.
I was so excited to come back again and see how they were doing in ‘life’ with two kids running around.
No surprises that even though the day to day of parenting has its ups and downs,
these boys are so happy and love their mamas <3
I’m the lucky one that gets to capture that <3

Here are just a few of my favourite moments from my Day with Henry, Arthur and their moms <3

….and if you haven’t had a chance to see their sweet Family Film…Its at the end of this post!

    Enjoy!

  • Rudy | Lifestyle Newborn

  • I was so excited to jump back into the images of the the Stephaniuk household.
My morning with  little Rudy and his big sister Lucie was so incredibly sweet.
Lucie has been waiting 11 years to become a big sister,
I couldn’t get over how attentive she was to him,
never leaving the room without kissing the top of his sweet head <3
I was reminded again of how lovely and warm their home was.
Something I love the most  was the walls, filled with photographs of some of their most precious moments together as a family of three
and now they have these, first moments of them as a family of four.

Here are just a few of my favourite images of my time with them.

  • Oscar | Lifestyle Newborn

  • It was about half way through this session that I smiled quietly to myself
I watched Rob and Megan take in their newest baby upstairs and downstairs and we listened to the older siblings happily play with their littlest sister.
They had just finished a big Saturday morning pancake breakfast when I came in, the house was bustling with activity.
    How wonderful.
Little Oscar has been born into a big family, surrounded by all his brothers and sisters.
They are Blended, Beautiful and full of life, Big & Small.
I was happy to be with them, happy to document them and each image has me smiling from ear to ear.
I know they will have you smiling too.

    Welcome to this world Oscar!

You are one lucky little man!

  • Nyah | Lifestyle Newborn

  • I arrived at the Hachey Family home to meet Nyah and her big sister Harper.
    The session was wonderful.
It had all the elements that an amazing and cozy ‘at home’ newborn session should.
A sweet baby, lots of cuddles, newborn squeaks, breaks for snacks
(both for baby and big sister) and a whole lot of love.
Ashley had one special request for me.
You see the girls have a brother, Johnny, who left this world much, much to soon.
She explained to me that Harper, the first child, is the ‘Sunshine’ baby.
    Johnny is their ‘Angel’ baby
and little Nyah…is the ‘Rainbow’ Baby.

The flowers surrounding the girls represent each sweet babe,
with their brother gently nestled in between them.
I am honoured to be able to share this moment of remembrance with them

The Family believes that Nyah was ‘hand picked’ by Johnny for them.
    I think so too.
    What an incredible gift.

We ended our sweet session with a few cute portraits of Harper
and a snuggly moment with Ashley and her girls in a very special chair.

This chair belong to her grandfather, a heirloom that he sat on in his office her whole life.
How wonderful for all these angels in their lives to be able to look down on this amazing family
and see all the ways they continue to remember them in their daily life.

Welcome to this world Nyah ❤

  • Nathan & Bennett | Lifestyle Newborn

  • This is Nathan.
He lives with his big brother Bennett, his two Mamas and a puppy who all love him very much.
I came to meet him just after Christmas.
The last time I saw this family, Bennett was just wee in his mamas arms
and now, both of their arms are delightfully full with these two beautiful boys.

I loved our slow morning of snuggles, superhero and cookie snacks.

Here are just a few of my faves <3

  • Amila | Milk Bath

  • Evelyn | Lifestyle Newborn

  • Are  you ready for the sweetest baby with the most adorable cheeks you are ever seen in your life!?!?
Oh Evelyn! I could squeeze you for days…..
I was invited into the Little household one more time before the end of the year, to document not just three of them…
    But now Four.
Last time I was in these rooms, they were preparing for her arrival
and I followed a very pregnant Jess all the way to the hospital.
Evelyn was born breach, and by C Section and weighed 10 pounds and 15 ounces of sweet baby goodness!
This time, they were settling in just perfectly with their new little cherub
and I snuck in to capture them loved up with her in these precious moments.

I almost posted every frame I took because I loved them ALL…

But narrowed it down to just a ‘few’ favourites….

Here is Evelyn & Jocelyn to brighten your Day!

  • The Eastman Family | A Day in the Life

  • I met Heather, Kory and their two boys early one crisp saturday morning at the local pool.
Ben was eager to show me how confident he was and me and my camera followed them jumping in and out of the water.
After we got out the boys were treated to hot chocolate before we headed back home for a gentle morning.

Since I was there last year and incredible tree fort was built where we spent some time playing as the sun shone through the trees.
After the muddy clothes were stripped off at the front door, the boys made pizza in thier undies for lunch.

That pretty much rounds out what I feel is the perfect Saturday Morning <3
I love the time I get to spend with the Eastman Family year after year.
The first time I ever photographed them, Owen was just a wee babe.
Now he is a busy little man with lots to say <3

Cant wait to see what we get up to next year….But for now…some photographs and a sweet little film to celebrate the season they are in right now <3

Take some time to watch their Family Film Here!

  • The Mountains | Extended Family

  • Whoever said that Extended Family Sessions were boring
has never photographed the Mountain Family!
15 of them assembled themselves on the family property
which is nestled up against the fields of Porters Farm.
As I tried to assemble them as best I could, a smile never left my face.
Ive known the family for a long time and so spending time with them felt like ‘old times’
When I was having dinner and sleepovers and John and Cindys place, I was as old as some of their grandchildren are now!

The end of our session was spent taking some time out for a few Promo shots of “The Porter Brothers”
The three boys of Brianne and Ian Porter are a local hit on the music scene.
They’ve got a lot of support, especially from their family.

Im happy the whole family put up with me as long as they did
and I came home with a big bag of homegrown corn
and some pretty great memories to go along with these photos.

Have a cup of coffee and spend some time with John, Cindy and the people they love most.

  • Julia & Ty | A Day in the Life

  • On the very day that Ty tured one years old, I arrived on the doorstep of his home.
Julia had just got him out of his crib, and they had already started the morning routine of snuggles in bed, followed by pets for Barkley and a bottle, before they headed down the stairs.
“This is for him” Julia said.
Me arriving on his birthday was carefully planned, as this video is meant to be a keepsake for him. A way to remember their connection and the beauty in their everyday.

Gone are the days that I carry my sleepy children up the stairs to their rooms for a mid day nap, but if I close my eyes, I can still feel the weight of them on my hips, their warm breath on my neck and the feeling of resting their bodies against the matress of the crib.
What I would have given for a memory just like this, or one of me with my own mother.
    Pricless.

Julia and Ty, thank you for spending your morning with me and sharing in your simple joys.

Next time I see you, you will be TWO years old and I bet our day will be very different, but some things wonderfully still the same.

Here are a few of my favourite photographs from our morning and stay right until the end and watch their adorable family film!

  • Axel | Lifestyle Newborn

  • Im sure you can imagine the excitement the day Axel was born.
Not knowing what was growing and kicking inside her belly,
with two sweet girls at home already,
I think they all just assumed possibly they would be blessed again with another beautiful girl.
    but….Surprise!
The moment Axel was born is one I’ll never forget.
The room was bursting with tears and excitement as the Crisp Familys’ first boy was brought earth side.
Since then, he has been surrounded and delightfully smothered by love, and rightfully so.
I feel very fortunate to have been there surrounded by all the excitement
and then home a few weeks later to see him settling in just perfectly.

    Welcome sweet boy.
You are as handsome as they come
and one of the luckiest little boys I know.

Here are a few favourites of my time with the Crisp Family,
    now a family of five.

  • Michael & Mackenzie | A Wedding Story

  • Michael & Mackenzie
    July 7th 2018

    These are my favourite days.
    No pressure, no stress.
A glorious backyard wedding, surrounded by family and friends.

Mike and Mackenzie had the perfect day.
I was just lucky enough to be the one to document it all.

Her parents home had me swooning, not to mention the oceanside backdrop complete with resident eagles.
    I loved every detail.
Mackenzie said “Nothing matches, nothing is perfect”
Everything was lovely, and completely ‘them’

    ….And the Adventure Begins…
Thank you thank you THANK you for allowing me to capture your memories.

Here are just a few of my favourite moments….
