The photographs Ashley took of the journey and birth of my grandson are some of the most precious photos I possess. It was special enough being included in Lochlan’s birth but words can’t describe how much more amazing these photos made my experience.

My daughter was quite nervous about labour and delivery and, as great as she did, had a couple of hard moments and it was in these moments that Ashley was a great help for her. When Khendra needed it, Ashley lightened the mood. It felt like she was supposed to be there with us; as though she was part of the family.

My son-in-law was so busy taking care of Khendra that he missed a lot of what was going on around him. He was too busy anticipating every need and comfort that Khendra needed to be able relish in the moments they shared and it was these moments that Ashley captured so perfectly.

Lochlan’s birth wouldn’t have been what it was… wouldn’t have been all it could be if Ashley weren’t with us. She integrated herself perfectly, she was never intrusive, she was a part of our family.
