Little Matteo was brought earth side on a Sunday afternoon.
And all he needed was an afternoon….
I arrived shortly after the first midwife, Rhonda and then came Lillian and lastly a wonderful Student Midwife, Amanda.
What a wonderful group of midwifes and so much special care for this little man.
We no sooner all arrived and got settled when it was apparent that Matteo was making his appearance much earlier than we all expected.
And why wouldn’t he?
The home was warm and inving and full of love…And he was ready to join it.
Louise beautifully laboured for 4 hours beginning to end.
And Matteo was born in the birthing pool and placed into his mothers arms, his father Bill right be her side.
I think thats a pretty wonderful start to life.
Welcome Sweet Matteo.
